Abstract: The curriculum is a metaconcept that is used to civilize humans with learning from various levels, especially in Elementary level (MI / SD). This paper aims to examine the urgency of Scientifics Approach in Basic Level Learning (MI/SD) based on the 2013 Curriculum. Due to the demand of society and the challenges of information and technology the curriculum is required to be developed by considering the fundamental aspects of the goals to be achieved in education. 2013 Curriculum tried to align the development of soft and hard skills. A distinctive feature of the curriculum is that learning is packaged in a scientific approach consisting of several activities, namely observation, questioning, enrichment, association and communication. This learning model provides a great opportunity to form the quality of human resources in Indonesia.
Abstrak: Kurikulum adalah meta konsep yang digunakana untuk memanusiakan manusia dengan pemberlajaran dari berbagai tingkatan terutama di MI/SD. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menelaah Urgensi Scientifics Approach Dalam Pembelajaran Tingkat Dasar (Mi/Sd) Berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013. Untuk menyesuaikan perkembangan zaman dan tantangan teknologi dan informasi, kurikulum dituntut untuk selalu dikembangkan dengan memeperhatikan aspek mendasar berupa tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam pedidikan. Kuriulum 2013 mencoba menyelaraskan pengembangan soft skill dan hard skill secara proporsional. Hal yang menarik dan menjadi keunikan dalam kurikulum adalah pembelajaran dikemas dengan pendekatan scientific approach yang teridiri dari kegiatan obeservasi, menanya, pengayaan, asosiasi dan komunikasi. Model pembelajaran ini memberikan peluang besar untuk membentuk indonesia berkulitas dengan SDM yang kreatif dan berkarakter.
